YES, WE EAT COOKIES AND SO CAN YOU!

I’m Allison Gross, dietitian and founder of 4Q Method.

My wellness journey began when I was nine. As a child, I was fixated on food and eating. While it seemed like I was just another chubby kid, I realized I was on a trajectory for an unhealthy life. I asked my mom to take me to a dietitian where I re-learned how to eat and established a balanced relationship with food. This life-changing, and more importantly joyful, experience led me to pursue a career in nutrition.

After graduating from the University of Pennsylvania, I received a masters in nutrition from NYU and completed my dietetic internship at NY Presbyterian Hospital. As my career progressed, it pained me to see people suffering from the vicious cycle of yo-yo dieting - diet relapse, weight fluctuations, and years of wasted time, money, and energy.

I created The 4Q Method to end all that. It is a product of more than 20 years of personal sustained weight loss and over a decade of educational, clinical, and private practice experience. My goal for our clients is not only to achieve lasting weight loss, but also to enjoy the journey getting there. I feel so fulfilled seeing the positive impact this program continues to have on our clients.

I’m Yasi Vojdani, a registered dietitian at 4Q Method.

Growing up with a mother who studied nutrition, I always respected her relationship with food. She raised my brother and me to understand the importance of moderation and balance. While we always had wholesome and nutrient dense meals, no foods were off limits.

I took interest in my mother’s passion for nutrition and always found ways to educate myself. Then, when I graduated college, my mom and I founded a granola company together. Working in the natural food space for 8 years inspired me to take my passion to the next level and become a dietitian. That's when I decided to attend NYU where I received my masters and completed my dietetic internship.

I believe nutrition should be simple. As a society, we have made it complicated, but it’s time to bring it back to basics. Finding habits that are sustainable and fit your lifestyle is key to long term success.

If I’m not reading nutrition articles or in client sessions, you can find me cooking, on the Pilates reformer or taking nice long walks!

With The 4Q Method, our clients build the tools and habits they need to break the pattern of diet relapse once and for all, and never look back.
