BREAKFAST PARFAIT

The breakfast parfait is a favorite breakfast among 4Q Method clients because it makes for an easy assembly and serve, grab-and-go breakfast for busy mornings — and let’s be real, most mornings are busy!

It is also delicious and versatile, so you can adjust it to suit your preferences. In fact, below is more of a guide than a strict recipe, so you can build it out exactly the way you want to. Check it out below!


INGREDIENTS: (yields 1 serving)

  • 3/4-1 cup plain non-fat or low-fat Greek or Skyr yogurt*

  • 1/2-3/4 cup 100% whole grain cereal (we recommend Smart Bran, Flax Plus, Heritage Flakes, or Mesa Sunrise)

  • 2 tbsp-1/4 cup nuts/seeds or 1-1.5 tbsp nut/seed butter

  • 1 serving fresh fruit

  • cinnamon


DIRECTIONS:

  1. Combine all ingredients in a bowl, and enjoy!


*Note: If you prefer full fat yogurt, simply omit the nuts/seeds or nut/seed butter. You can also swap in cottage cheese for yogurt if you want!
